1945 2½ Cent coin from the Dutch East Indies, obverse bearing the Queen Guillermina in Jawi and Malay inscriptions, reverse with the crowned Netherlands shield; graded NGC MS63 RD.

NETHERLANDS INDIES. 2½ Cent. 1945. Wilhelmina (1890-1948)
- Face value: 2½ Cent.
- Reign: Wilhelmina (1890-1948).
- Year: 1945.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: The name of Queen Wilhelmina in Arabic script (Jawi), surrounded by the Malay legend. Reverse: NEDERLANDSCH INDIË · 2½ CENT · 1945, with the crowned coat of arms of the Netherlands in the center.
- Grade: MS63 RD (NGC).
Coin of 2½ Cent with the monogram and name of Queen Wilhelmina in Arabic characters (Jawi) on the obverse, surrounded by the inscription in Malay and a fine dotted circle. The reverse features the crowned coat of arms of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, flanked by the date, with the denomination and the name of the colonial territory distributed in the outer legend. The specimen retains an intense original red color, characteristic of the RD designation, with abundant mint luster, sharp relief, and very clean fields, showing only light contact marks concordant with its MS63 RD grade. Issued at the end of World War II for the Dutch East Indies, this coin belongs to a period of deep political transition that preceded Indonesia's independence.
