Alvar Aalto - Board game - Wood

No. 1 Mulino or Filetto game, a traditional board game similar to checkers, dating from the 1970s, produced by the Finnish design company Artek of the renowned designer Alvar Aalto.
From some research conducted, it seems that the Finnish company, in the 1970s, granted licenses for production and distribution in Italy for several products, including board games, hence the original label on the back reporting Made in Italy.
The item is complete with original pawns and the original box, which is not in good condition, as can be seen from the photos (original sticker and old on the packaging).
The instructions are missing, which can be easily found on Wikipedia.
These board games are extremely rare on the market, especially in these excellent condition. The item, in fact, has never been used because it belonged to the warehouse stock of an old toy shop that ceased business at the end of the 1980s.
