Attractive large cabinet specimen featuring numerous intergrown purple fluorite crystals with unusual rounded and strongly modified crystal forms. The crystals display deep violet to purple colour, with darker zones and more translucent purple areas visible along the edges and fractured surfaces.
The specimen comes from an old Danish private mineral collection and retains its original collection information identifying the locality as Shabalala Mine, Namibia.
