Description from the seller
For auction: a classic, sturdy vintage medium-format folding camera: the Pollux, produced in Germany between the late 1920s and the early 1930s.
The lot presents in generally good vintage condition, with normal signs of use and storage perfectly consistent with the object's age.
Optics: The camera mounts the original Anastigmat "Polluxar" 1:4.5 f=10.5 cm. The lenses appear in good preserved condition, free of scratches or traces of mold and internal fungi.
Mechanical: The lot appears mechanically functional. The original central shutter Vario responds to manual controls. The front cover releases correctly and the metal linkage system allows the smooth extension of the bellows along the steel rails.
Aesthetics: Good overall vintage condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The metal body retains its original black finish, showing the classic and normal signs of time, slight opacities and small paint flakings from period handling localized along the external metallic profiles.
Tracked international shipping, fully insured and professionally super-protective packaging to guarantee maximum safety during transport.
