Pipe - Sea Foam and Amber

Antique very small Meerschaum cigar holder with Horse. The pipe is 8 cm long and 3 cm high, beautiful for the collector of these pipes. Real Amber & Original Box (ca. 1900)
A splendid and rare piece of craftsmanship from the early 20th century (ca. 1890 - 1910). It concerns an antique, hand-carved meerschaum cigar- or cigarette-holding pipe (Zigarrenspitze) in a beautiful, pristine condition.
The head features a stunning and finely hand-carved sculpture of a horse. The porous meerschaum has developed, over the years, a fantastic, deep honey- and amber-like patina.
The mouthpiece is made of authentic, transparent amber with the natural inclusions characteristic of natural stone.
The pipe is delivered in the original, custom-made storage box with a burgundy exterior and a silk/velvet-lined interior. In the lid lies the original gold stamp with the double-headed eagle and the text: "Garantie Echt Meerschaum", indicating a high-quality Viennese (Austrian) origin.
The pipe is in good antique condition with a beautifully lived-in appearance. The box closes well and shows normal, light aging traces on the interior that suit the age. With box 9 cm and 5 cm high.
