For sale is an exquisite, hand-carved wall console from the Baroque era (probably 18th century / early 19th century). The sculpturally developed design draws on a classical Corinthian capital and captivates with elegantly curved acanthus leaves as well as a central floral rosette on the front.

The object is in a charming, age-appropriate original condition with authentic patina. The front bears a noble gold finish, while the cover plate is set in dark. The hand-planed wooden back emphasizes the piece's great age and shows a historical metal hanger as well as a period-typical, manually incised collection or workshop mark ('FND'). A characterful standalone object for collectors and lovers of historic interiors.
