Charming fall-front desk in Louis XV style, featuring an elegant curved silhouette and rich decoration in veneers of precious woods and marquetry. The front as well as the sides are adorned with decorative motifs in wood of different species, enhanced with gilded bronze fittings.
The piece is topped with an elegant veined marble top and rests on graceful curved feet enriched with bronze sabot feet. The fall-front opens to reveal an interior fitted with several small drawers and storage compartments, as well as a leather-lined writing area.
