The turtle dove (Streptopelia turtur) is a species of birds in the Columbidae family and breeds in the Western Palearctic, mainly in low-altitude regions. It is the only long-distance migratory dove in Europe, and also one of the species experiencing some of the fastest declines in Europe.

The bird's taxidermy is in pristine condition.

Adult specimen, with the distinctive colors of this sublime bird, this one is mounted on a genuine deer antler.

The last photo shows a specimen in its natural habitat.
