This vintage sterling silver photo frame with contrast, commemorating Sydney's bicentennial, is in very good condition. The frame design features flowers, fruits, seeds, and a kangaroo. The bicentennial dates (1788-1988) are inscribed on a wavy ribbon at the top of the frame. The back and the dark royal blue velvet stand are in good condition. The contrasts (assay marks) on the lower left are sharp and clear, dating the frame to London, 1987.

RBB (the mark at the far left) Maker's Mark: The unique initials of the jewelry or silversmith’s workshop registered with the London Assay Office. The maker RBB was active from the late 1960s through the 1990s, specializing in silver photo frames and book covers.

Alongside RBB are three official British state marks: Leopard head: The symbol of the London Assay Office. Britannia mark (figure of a woman with a trident): Indicates a higher and less common silver purity: Britannia silver of 958 fineness. This means it contains 95.8% pure silver (a higher percentage than traditional sterling silver 925). Letter N: The year letter of the London Assay Office, certifying the exact year 1987 as the manufacturing date.
