AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Pair of table lamps "Leila" – Verner Panton & Marcello Siard for Collezioni Longato (1968)
Splendid and rare pair of table lamps model "Leila" (item 1010), an absolute icon of Italian and international design of the Space Age era. Designed in 1968 by Marcello Siard in collaboration with the renowned designer Verner Panton, they were produced in Padua by Collezioni Longato.
The lamps are distinguished by their iconic mushroom shape, made entirely of injection-m molded plastic (antistatic Cellidor by Bayer). The light diffuses softly and atmospherically from both the shade and the cylindrical stem. The base is finished with factory marks impressed.
As clearly visible from the close-up photos, the lower edge of the plastic body shows some nicks/chips and small material losses at the joints with the base. Once mounted on the chrome base, the overall visual impact remains very pleasing and iconic. Please carefully view the photographic gallery before placing bids. Also present are light burrs.
