AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
This exceptional nephrite jade scarab from Burma combines the natural beauty of the green gemstone with one of the oldest symbols of ancient cultures. The finely crafted sculpture depicts the characteristic body of a scarab, with clearly raised wings, legs, and fine ornamental details.
The intensely green coloration of the nephrite is particularly impressive. Depending on the angle of light, the material ranges from vivid, glowing green to darker, deep green areas. The polished surface beautifully showcases the stone's natural gleam and slight translucency. Natural inclusions and individual color markings emphasize its unique character.
The scarab carries a millennia‑old symbolic history and is well known from ancient Egypt, where it represented renewal, rebirth, vitality, and the sun’s recurring cycle. Therefore, this gemstone carving is not only a decorative collectible but also an object with special symbolic resonance.

In various cultural traditions, jade is symbolically associated with harmony, luck, protection, balance, and durability. Combined with the traditional symbolism of the scarab, it becomes a striking object that can represent renewal, vitality, and positive development.
