Description from the seller
Beautiful set of 4 original Soviet and Ukrainian military commemorative medals, each complete with the original, name-engraved certificate booklet (Удостоверение). A historically interesting collection that shows the transition from the Soviet Union to independent Ukraine. The medals are in a nice, collectible condition with original ribbons and the booklets contain clear stamps and signatures.
1. Zhukov Medal (1896-1996): Scarce Ukrainian state issue from 1998. In the name of G.V. Rubinski. Featuring the official Ukrainian stamp with the national trident (Tryzub) of the President of Ukraine.
2. Jubilee Medal 30 Years of Victory (1945-1975): The sought-after "Participant in the War" variant (Участнику войны), awarded to the front. In the name of veteran L.P. Kondratski, issued in Kiev (1975).
3. Jubilee Medal 20 Years of Victory (1945-1965): Awarded to the same veteran L.P. Kondratski by the Military Commissariat in Kiev (1966).
4. Jubilee Medal 70 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR (1918-1988): The very last military jubilee medal of the Soviet Union. Awarded to E.A. Jamina on Defender of the Soviet Union Day (23 February 1988).
