Fascinating Marelli electric table fan, model 0300/A, dating from the 1930s, a splendid example of Italian industrial design from the first half of the 20th century.
The device features an entirely metal construction of great solidity, with four wide aluminum blades, a characteristic circular protective cage in metal rod, and an important motor housing with aerodynamic shapes. On the front hub the MARELLI mark in metal is clearly visible, an element that gives the fan a strong aesthetic identity.
On the base there is still the original Marelli plaque, on which the model 0300/A, the power supply 120 V – 50 Hz, and the serial number 414475 can be read.
Particularly interesting is the condition: the fan retains a beautiful patina of time, with light oxidations, abrasions, and signs of use that testify to its age and enhance its industrial charm. The aluminum blades retain considerable brightness and the cage shows the natural superficial oxidation typical of an object from this era.
The motor housing orientation system, the mechanical controls, and the characteristic fabric-wrapped cord visible in the photos are present.
The fan is perfectly functional.
A decorative object with great presence, particularly interesting for collectors of Marelli, Italian industrial design, historical appliances, retro design, and vintage furnishings.
