The contents of this bottle come from Louis Royer stock, which they inherited from Jules Duret when the two companies merged late 19th century. The brand was used as an export brand in the 1960s and 1970s. In the 1980s the brand was revived, mostly for export to the USA of very rare and old cognac. - ES]
