Bathroom console in wood with marble top and towel rack – Liberty style, early 20th century
Elegant bathroom console / dressing table in wood, Liberty taste, featuring a rectangular light veined marble top with eased corners.
The piece has two front drawers with turned knobs, a wide lower curved shelf and two side towel racks in wood. The s-curved, slender legs, combined with the curved profile of the shelf, give the whole piece a refined line typical of early 1900s furnishings.
Italian production from the early decades of the 20th century. The drawers are internally lined with decorated paper.
Solid condition and pleasant presence, with signs of use, patina, small scratches, abrasions and stains consistent with age and use. The marble top shows normal signs of time and small edge defects, visible in the photographs. Present are three holes that at the time probably housed a light bumper to prevent objects from falling. Please examine all the images carefully, they are an integral part of the description.
