Description from the seller

RAREST ICONIC PIECE OF THE SPACE AGE!

The Aphelion Television is an iconic spherical television with a futuristic design, conceived by Stephen Foster in the early 1970s and reissued in 2000. This cult object, a symbol of the "space age" and cited in numerous design publications, is a very rare collectible piece.

The item for sale is the only edition in a limited version (250 units) produced in the early 2000s, equipped with a Thomson 28" color television hidden inside the fiberglass shell.

In excellent condition (since I bought it I have always kept it in my apartment) and fully functional, it includes an integrated antenna cable, the power cord, and an integrated SCART socket for combined/ S-video input, Nicam stereo audio, as well as the side controls. The TV also works with a universal remote.

Being equipped with an analog tuner, it requires an external digital decoder for current reception.

The courier may come to my address, arrange professional on-site packing, and pick up the TV. I guarantee my availability for collection and delivery of the item to the designated courier.
