Vintage Reguitti valet stand – Italian design of the twentieth century

Elegant Reguitti wooden valet stand, a testament to that Italian manufacturing tradition which, over the course of the twentieth century, managed to transform everyday objects into furnishings refined in form and detail.

The valet stand originated as an indispensable element of the gentleman’s bedroom, intended to neatly receive the clothes worn during the day: the jacket on the distinctive contoured back panel, the trousers on the rails, and the other garments on the various supports.

This specimen features a particularly elegant construction, with a wide and sinuous back panel, slender uprights, and a base on casters. The wood retains a warm amber hue and a pleasant patina developed over time.

Reguitti’s production is tied to the history of Italian furnishings, and its valet stands are today appreciated not only for their original function but also as items of modern design and vintage design.
