Bohemian Art Nouveau glass vase by Lötz with a pewter mount, green iridescent glass in a rounded form, 15 cm wide, 13 cm high and 15 cm deep, 500 g, in good used condition with minor signs of age.

Art Nouveau vase by Lötz with a pewter mount. Art Nouveau iridescent art glass vase with an intense green background and an organic, softly rounded shape. With a low, wide body and a slightly narrow neck, it is finished with a decorative pewter mount featuring a stylized motif inspired by nature. The surface presents a subtle play of colors with bluish tones toward the base, characteristic of the period. Origin: Bohemia (now the Czech Republic). Manufacturer: Lötz. Material: Iridescent art glass with pewter mount. Dimensions: Height 11 cm, Diameter 11 cm. Era: Early 20th century. Condition: Very good condition with slight signs of wear due to age. Provenance: Private German collection. Biography: Johann Lötz Witwe was one of the most important producers of Art Nouveau art glass around 1900. The workshop is particularly renowned for its sophisticated iridescent finishes and organic forms, often combined with decorative pewter or silver mounts. This fusion of art glass and metalwork reflects the Art Nouveau ideal of unity between form, material and craftsmanship.
