Pair of Vintage French Champagne Buckets - Henri Abelé & De Castellane - Metal - France - 1950-1970
The set consists of:
Champagne Bucket Henri Abelé (Reims), characterized by the historic blue and gold crest of the house founded in 1757. This piece stands out for an extraordinary surface luster and a bright, almost chrome-like finish that beautifully reflects light.
On the external bottom it bears impressed the historic oval hallmark of the prestigious French manufacturer "BOURGUIGNONNE - ALU PUR" with the bottle symbol, certifying its manufacture in pure aluminum of the era.
Champagne Bucket De Castellane (Épernay): Features the iconic front enamel label with the famous red Saint Andrew's cross.
This model boasts its native brushed finish, more satin and matte, with timeless charm. It bears on the external bottom the original mark stamped in a circular punch "MADE IN FRANCE".
