Beautiful enameled bowl,

The elongated oval bowl is enameled and has a deep blue base, on which surreal red, yellow, blue and white figures are applied, in a style reminiscent of the Spanish painter Joan Miró.

The bowl, dating from circa 1951–1956, whose design is attributed to visual artist Jan Roëde (1914-2007), was made for the Algemene Nederlandse Metaalbewerkers Bond, and bears the mark A.N.M.B. on the bottom.

Dimensions: 49 x 18.5 cm. Height: 3.5 cm.
Condition: given its age, in excellent condition, and the enamel is intact all over!
Minor wear spots on the underside.

Afmetingen: 49 x 18,5 cm. Hoogte: 3,5 cm.
Conditie: gezien de ouderdom in prima staat,
en het email is overal onbeschadigd!
