AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Selling a splendid antique terracotta wood-burning stove, produced by the historic Italian company 'Becchi Forlì'. An authentic piece of modern design, perfect both as a rustic furnishing accessory and for heating rooms.
The original front door in cast iron bears the manufacturer's name and the patent number (BREV-390792).
Functional State: Fully functioning.
Combustion Chamber: An internal refurbishment with refractory stone has been carried out, guaranteeing excellent thermal retention and heat output. Also included are the refractory bricks visible in the photo.
Modular Structure: made of heavy reddish terracotta, it is composed of stacked modules. This feature makes disassembly and transport extremely easy, allowing loading in blocks into the trunk of a car or a small vehicle. Upper connection for the exhaust flue is present.
Aesthetic Conditions: The item is in good overall condition. It shows the normal patina of time and a chipping on the corner of the upper module caused solely by an impact during a previous transport (the central body and the structure remain intact and solid).
WARNING - PICKUP ONLY:
Due to the delicacy and weight of the terracotta, I do NOT ship. Pickup is exclusively by hand and at the buyer's total expense in the Chianciano Terme area. The modules separate easily, making loading much more convenient.
