Offered here is the impressive Franklin Mint 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible in 1:24 scale.
The model is finished in an elegant metallic Argyle Blue with a light-coloured interior, wide whitewall tyres and extensive chrome-effect trim. Its exceptionally long body, enormous rear fins and twin bullet-shaped tail lights reproduce one of the most recognisable American automobiles of the 1950s.
This officially licensed General Motors model was hand-assembled and produced as part of Franklin Mint’s well-known Precision Models collector series.

2. Cadillac and the Original 1959 Eldorado Biarritz
The 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz is one of the most extravagant and immediately recognisable American automobiles ever produced.
Its dramatic styling marked the high point of the American tailfin era. The exceptionally tall rear fins, twin bullet-shaped tail lights, huge chrome bumpers and low, wide proportions turned the 1959 Cadillac into an enduring symbol of post-war American luxury.
The Biarritz was the convertible version of Cadillac’s prestigious Eldorado range. It combined spectacular styling with an exceptionally luxurious interior and extensive standard equipment.
The original automobile was powered by Cadillac’s 390 cubic-inch V8 engine. In Eldorado specification, the engine produced approximately 345 horsepower and was combined with an automatic transmission.
