Bedside table lamp - Glass, Iron - Attributed to Degué

Magnificent forged iron lamp with a pressed glass tulip “attributed” to the Parisian glassworks DEGUÉ (David GUÉRON) dating from the Art Deco period (1920-1940).

David GUÉRON (1892-1950) was a renowned glassmaker who owned the Verrerie d’Art Degué establish­ment in Paris between 1926 and 1939.

The lamp base is in hammered wrought iron, on a triangular base adorned with roses.
Very fine workmanship, no missing ornament, welds intact, element in perfect condition.
Support perfectly suited to the diameter of the glassware (the lamp is stable).

The wrought iron has been brushed and waxed, with a beautiful patina.

Tulip in thick colorless pressed glass, with a geometric design.
Model listed by the DEGUÉ establishments (this type of model is never signed, hence the lamp can only be “Attributed” to Degué).

The tulip is in excellent condition despite these 100 years of existence (no cracks or accidents, just minimal traces or scratches).

Circa 1920/1940

Electrical work redone: antique brass socket for small B22 bayonet bulb, new wire and plug (the electrical wire measures 1.30 m for easy connection) old switch “Zeppelin”.

This antique lamp works perfectly and will be delivered with 2 bulbs (1 LED bulb with normal color and 1 other bulb emitting a red light).
I should note that B22 bayonet bulbs are very easy to find on the market (colored or not).

So you just have to plug in the lamp and press the switch to illuminate your interior with a century of history!
