Description from the seller
Vitra EA 116 designed by Charles & Ray Eames (2008) in an elegant Netweave white finish.
This configuration, less frequently seen on the second-hand market, particularly showcases the finesse of the Eames drawing. The weave lets light filter through and gives the seat a graphic lightness, while the aluminum frame becomes a true element of composition. A chair where material, transparency and structure fully contribute to defining the space.
Its timeless design naturally finds its place in interiors that are as minimalist as they are eclectic. It is a piece to which I am particularly attached, chosen as much for its design qualities as for the way it dialogues with its surroundings.
An emblematic piece of 20th-century design, whose elegance lies precisely in this alliance between functionality, constructive nobility and visual lightness.

- The copy for sale is in very good visual condition, bright, and nonetheless shows some minor wear traces located at the back of the seat, on one part of the chrome frame.
