Prunotto Barbaresco DOCG 2023 – Marchesi Antinori
Prunotto's Barbaresco is one of the most historic and elegant expressions of Nebbiolo in purity, sourced from selected vineyards in the renowned Treiso and Neive areas. The 2023 vintage stands out for its extraordinary freshness and aromatic finesse. After careful vinification, the wine matures for about a year in oak barrels of varying capacities, developing a perfect balance between structure and softness.
Color: Intense and lively garnet-red.
Nose: Complex, floral bouquet, with evident notes of red fruits (cherry, pomegranate), enriched by hints of sweet spices, licorice, tobacco and balsamic notes.
Palate: Velvety, harmonious and medium-bodied. It shows vibrant acidity and finely integrated tannins that lead to a long, persistent and spicy finish.
Storage and Service: An aristocratic yet approachable wine, perfect to drink now or to let evolve in the cellar for the next 10-12 years. Ideal with red meat dishes, game and aged cheeses.
The bottles have been stored in a cellar at controlled temperature and humidity.
