Le Régional - 57A Tube radio

This French tabletop radio was completely restored and is ready for everyday listening pleasure. The bakelite cabinet has been thoroughly cleaned and protected with a clear high-gloss varnish (maintenance-free). The knobs are not original. A small damage to the dial glass at the bottom right and a glued reinforced crack in the bakelite at the top left are barely noticeable (see photos).
Due to irreparable defects in the original AM section, the unit was converted into a 3.5-watt tube amplifier, driven by either:
- A solid-state tuner with very good reception on FM via a whip/rod antenna (87.5–108 MHz).
- A Bluetooth receiver (not Hi-Fi);
- An external speaker via a 3.15 mm jack.
All resistors, capacitors and semiconductors are new.

Tubes: EZ80-EL84-EBF80-ECH81 (tested ~+90%).
