Radiola - RA11U Tube radio

Charming French (night)stand radio set (identical to Philips BF101U), fully restored and ready for everyday listening pleasure.
The damaged Bakelite cabinet was repaired (reinforced inside) and repainted in the original colour. Signs of the repair remain visible up close, but are hardly noticeable.
The speaker grille/scale window shows slight opacity and fading due to age.
Due to irreparable defects in the original AM section, the unit was converted into a 3-watt tube amplifier, driven by either:
- A solid-state FM tuner with very good reception via whip antenna (87-108MHz);
- A Bluetooth receiver (not Hi-Fi);
All resistors, capacitors and semiconductors are new.
Since this is a mains-powered device, there are no external input and/or output connections.
Dial lighting with LED-E10-6V.
Tubes: UY41-UL41-UBC41-UC(H)42 (tested ~90%).
