Tureen - Earthenware - Large 'chou' slipsoepterrine

Sometimes in the circular economy we come across something that makes you think, "that’s unique!" After a bit of research, we have the following: Large 'chou' slipsoepterrine, Probably by Bordalo Pinheiro, Portugal. Period around 1960.

Beautiful and unique ceramic dish/bowl in the shape of a cabbage, complete with matching lid and spoon. The overall dimensions are a bit hard to gauge due to the creative form of this piece. The diameter is about 22 cm. There are no visible defects on the bowl.

This is very suitable for serving salads, soups, stews, or as a decorative object. Made from high-quality ceramic with an eye for detail, perfectly mimicking the texture of a cabbage. A real eyecatcher for any table or kitchen. Made in Portugal. Viewing is also possible at our thrift store Doorstroomers in Egmond aan den Hoef.
