This is a large, imperial yellow-glazed blue-and-white porcelain plate with dragon motifs from the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty (1399-1435). This exquisite yellow-glazed plate from the Xuande period is a masterpiece of court art, featuring dragon motifs as its main decoration. This plate represents the highest level of porcelain craftsmanship during the Xuande period. The plate is 36 centimeters in diameter, with a beautiful and grand shape, fine workmanship, and complete decoration. The body of the plate features intricate floral patterns. Yellow glaze symbolizes good fortune and auspiciousness. The rim is inscribed with the six characters "Made in the Xuande Reign of the Great Ming Dynasty." In ancient times, yellow was the exclusive color of the emperor; this exquisite plate is extremely precious, a unique work of art, as large porcelain plates are even rarer than vases, and those in excellent condition are extremely rare.
