Si tratta di una cornice antica di produzione italiana, realizzata in legno scuro con una finitura nera lucida e profili lavorati a rilievo. 
Il bordo esterno presenta una decorazione a cordoncino e scanalature, mentre all’interno si nota un filetto dorato che delimita l’apertura. 
Di forma rettangolare e proporzioni classiche, è vuota e pronta per ospitare un quadro o una stampa.
