Heidoscop 4,5x10,7 cm stereoscopic biottica camera, in good overall condition and tested and working.
Description from the seller
Here is an extraordinary, very rare, and historically monumental stereoscopic biotropic camera for plates: the Heidoscop 4.5x10.7, produced in Germany by the legendary Franke & Heidecke in Braunschweig during the 1920s.
The lot presents in good general vintage condition, with normal signs of use and storage consistent with the object's centuries-old age, and is complete with its original coupled optical block.
Optics: The camera is equipped with three original pre-war coordinated objectives. The lenses are structurally integral and free of deep scratches or mold; only a normal, widespread, light vintage patina due to time is evident, entirely physiological for a piece of this age.
Mechanics: The lot appears functional at the manual mechanical level. The proprietary central mechanical shutter responds to the controls and fires regularly.
Aesthetics: Good overall condition, as documented by the photographs. The solid rectangular metal shell in black finish preserves a beautiful period visual impact, displaying the classic signs of aging with slight surface dulling.
Tracked international shipping, fully insured and professionally ultra-protective packaging to ensure maximum safety during transport.
