Two polished lapis lazuli specimens from Afghanistan (Badakhshan mines), 821 g and 737 g, showing deep blue with white calcite veining and bright pyrite inclusions.
Description from the seller
Two high-quality free-form lapis lazuli pieces, polished, from Afghanistan (Badakhshan mines, in the far northeast of the country).
Composition: mainly lazurite, pyrite and calcite.
Each specimen has been carefully polished to reveal the rich true blue color and its natural attractive pattern for which Afghan lapis lazuli is famous, complemented by natural white calcite veins and delicate shimmering pyrite inclusions.
Both specimens feature a fine mottling of white calcite with delicate flashes of pyrite, making them elegant display pieces for collectors, interior decoration, or crystal enthusiasts.
The free-form piece has a smooth, glossy finish, without losing the natural beauty of the stone.
They originate from the famous Afghan lapis lazuli deposits, known for producing some of the world’s highest quality materials.
A free-form lapis lazuli crystal is an irregular, polished natural stone piece in a deep blue. In crystal healing and alternative well-being traditions, free-form lapis lazuli possesses the same metaphysical and symbolic properties as polished or carved stones, focused mainly on mental clarity, truth, and chakras alignment. Ideal for mineral collectors, crystal enthusiasts, interior decoration, meditation, or as a premium gift set.
821g, 11 x 10 x 4.5cm
737g, 8 x 9 x 6cm
