A spine with polished decorations on the back of the handle together with the famous Laguiole bee. The shepherd’s cross is also on the handle. This is the emblem against which shepherds, during their long treks across the land, could pray for the meal with the knife stuck in the bread. The French shepherds also enjoyed wine, and as a result there were versions made with a corkscrew, of which this is one.

Equipped with an olive wood handle with stainless steel bolsters. This knife has an elegant, robust and original design. The sharp, finely etched stainless steel blade is highly resistant to corrosion.

A notable feature of olivewood is that the tree may only be used once it stops yielding olives. This is usually after 100 years. Laguiole
The well-known knife from France originally started as a beautiful functional pocket knife. Laguiole is not a brand name, but a reference to a French village. Designed with as a starting point a Spanish pocketknife called navaja and a locally French small dagger called capuchadou.
