Pyatigorsk Bronze/Пятигорская бронза 1:35 - Model military vehicle - Russischer Hauptkampfpanzer T-80BW (Т-80БВ) - Weight of the model: approx. 2.4 kg

For sale is an exclusive collector’s model of the Russian main battle tank T-80BW, a modification of the legendary T-80 tank. This exceptional model captivates with its detailed 1:35 scale replica and has been crafted from high-quality patinated bronze using an artistic casting process.

The T-80BW was the world’s first tank to be equipped with dynamic armor against cumulative rounds. This significantly increased protection for nearly half of the fighting space — including the rear, bow, and turret sections — and gave it a substantial advantage over Western models of its time. Additionally, the tank features reinforced armor elements and an impressive combat weight of 43.7 tons. In tests, the machine’s extraordinary maneuverability and smooth running were particularly highlighted.

Another highlight of this model is the representation of the gas turbine engine, which endowed the Russian T-80BW with its remarkable performance characteristics. Thanks to this technology, the tank could be made ready for action even at extremely low temperatures, since less time was required to start and warm up the engine — a decisive advantage over diesel engines.

The collector’s model measures (height x width x length in cm): 9.3 x 10.8 x 28.0. It is a unique work of art that fits into any collection and honors the history of a technical milestone. Such artworks are hardly available in Europe and represent a rare highlight for collectors and enthusiasts of military history models.
