Pair of Chinese Polychrome Pottery Horses, Tang Dynasty Style
A decorative pair of Chinese polychrome pottery horses, modelled in the style of the famous Tang dynasty sancai horse figures.
The figures are finished in muted tones of green, ochre, red and cream, with a deliberately aged and weathered appearance.
The horses form a matching pair and are highly decorative, making them particularly suitable as statement pieces in a classical, eclectic or chinoiserie interior.
Condition: Overall in good condition, with age-related wear and losses to the polychrome decoration. One horse is missing one ear. Please refer to the photographs for further details.
