The La Rachilana estate is located in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba, in the province of Cuneo an area historically significant and ideally suited for wine production. Here, the Marengo family has spent generations tending the vineyards with dedication, commitment, and respect for the land; this is also where the Langhe Nascetta Oro D.O.C. is produced. The estate is now in its third generation, continuing a family story that began in 1964 when after years of hard work as a sharecropper Grandfather Bartolomeo decided to establish his own winery. Yet, the core values remain unchanged: producing fine, genuine, high-quality wine. Each generation contributes to the estate’s operations with passion and a deep attachment to the local area. Careful selection of the finest grapes ensures that the wines reflect a commitment to quality over quantity. The winery participates in "The Green Experience" project, which prioritizes environmental respect and has led to the elimination of herbicides and insecticides.
