Renaissance Style Column - 1910-1920 - Ebonized walnut

Antique column pedestal or plant stand in ebonized walnut wood, characterized by four beautiful central turned stems with a barley-twist motif, dating roughly to the early decades of the 20th century and inspired by the Neorenaissance style. This type of furniture was and is still primarily used as a pedestal to display indoor plants, decorative pots, sculptures, or small art objects in entrances and elegant living rooms.
