AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Spectacular illuminated planter of Italian design Stilart, made during the second half of the 20th century, a piece of great decorative sophistication that combines the elegance of Modernist design with the glamour characteristic of Hollywood Regency.
Its careful aesthetic and functional conception make it one of those creations capable of transforming an interior space on its own.
The structure is made of high-gloss black lacquered wood, enriched with refined artisanal decoration depicting elegant wading birds among vegetal motifs, executed in delicate gold and pink tones. These scenes, with a clearly Oriental inspiration, impart an exotic and sophisticated atmosphere that is very characteristic of mid-20th-century Italian luxury decorative productions.
The ensemble is masterfully framed by profiles of golden brass that highlight the geometric lines of the piece and create an attractive contrast with the lacquered surfaces. Its clean design, with uncluttered volumes and balanced proportions, reflects the influence of decorative modernism and the international taste for elegant and theatrical interiors of the era.
The planter incorporates an integrated lighting system that allows highlighting plants, floral arrangements, or decorative compositions, turning it into an authentic ambient focal point. Additionally, it features discreetly integrated wheels that facilitate its movement and increase its functionality without altering the purity of its lines.
Due to the richness of its finishes, the quality of its manufacture, and the combination of glossy lacquer, golden brass, and oriental inspiration, this piece fits exceptionally well in Hollywood Regency, luxury Mid-Century Modern, modernist, or eclectic interiors. An elegant creation by Stilart, the Italian firm known for its sophisticated decorative designs, that combines functionality, ambient lighting, and a striking sculptural presence in a single piece of furniture.
Insured shipping and careful packaging.
