Wall sconce (2) - Pair of Italian Rococo / Louis XV wall sconces – gilded wood and silvered metal – 20th century

Elegant pair of Italian two-light wall sconces, made of carved and gilded wood with rich scrolls and acanthus leaf motifs in Rococo/Louis XV taste.
The arms in silvered metal are decorated with floral elements and flower-shaped bobeches. The contrast between the antiqued gilding of the body and the silvery finish of the arms is very beautiful.
They show a pleasant patina of time, with normal signs of wear and small flaws to the finish consistent with their age, clearly documented in the photographs.
The electrical system is present but, being vintage lamps, it is recommended that the electrical installation be checked by qualified personnel before use.
