Description from the seller

Ancient reliquary in the form of a medallion/pendant, made of worked metal with its original suspension hook, housing a hand-colored antique devotional print depicting the Carmelite Saint Mary Magdalene de' Pazzi, with the circular identifying inscription S. M. MAGDALENA DE PAZZIS. The back is finished with handmade embroidery in gold-colored metallic thread, decorated paper, and handwritten inscriptions. It contains reliquaries authenticated as associated with the Saint.

Generally good preservation condition given the era and the delicacy of the materials; shows normal signs of age on the mount and the internal components; the photos are an integral part of the description.

The reliquary contains no human remains.

This object is offered exclusively for its historical, cultural, or decorative value. No religious significance is claimed, implied, or asserted.
