RCA VICTOR - B-411 Tube radio

Stunning vintage RCA Victor B-411 valve portable radio with battery-powered medium-wave reception, produced in the late 1940s. This classic mid-century radio features its original brown/bordeaux hard bakelite case with the iconic circular tuning scale; it is also complete with its original leather carrying case, which makes it an exceptional piece for any collection of antique radios or vintage items with unique shapes.

The radio is offered in its original condition, has not been tested or refurbished and is sold exactly as it is. The interior appears complete and retains the original valves, factory labels; however, since both original RCA batteries (battery A VS036 and battery B VS016 at 67.5 volts) are missing and it cannot be tested, its functioning cannot be guaranteed.

Esthetic conditions are very good with signs of use consistent with the age and low usage; the original label of the battery compartment is clean and legible, while the chassis appears intact and unmessed-with. I only note a defect on the handle support shown in detail in the last photo.
