Murano: 1 one-arm wall sconce
Made by a Murano master in the 1970s/1980s with transparent glass and rich inclusions of solid gold. It has a beautiful golden glow due to the abundance of gold included in the glass, in keeping with the traditional Murano technique.
The wall sconce consists of an arm with a gilded cup facing upward, with a lovely garland hanging. ; 2 low curved flowers rich in gold with stems slightly amber-toned and in the center a flower and two tall leaves.
All pieces are handmade and none is identical to another.
Complete. Height: 40 cm. Width: 33 cm. Depth: 29 cm.
Good condition of preservation: a very small missing piece is noted (almost invisible on the upper left leaf, which also appears slightly longer than the other, but these are items made entirely by hand and therefore never identical to one another.

I mainly collect Murano chandeliers thanks to the collaboration with some companies that restore apartments and palaces in Venice. In this way, over time, I have recovered the chandeliers of elegant and often ancient houses in the lagoon and in the nearby areas.
Murano glass has an incomparable charm: every piece, even the simplest, has a story hidden in its fragility and its iridescent light.
