Description from the seller
Set of stereoscopic photos on glass in the 6x13 cm format — Côte d'Amour II — Vintage storage binder
Superb set of original stereoscopic photographs on glass in the classic 6x13 cm format, preserved in its vintage storage binder and accompanied by its original handwritten inventory sheet titled “Côte d'Amour II.” This lot documents various escapades along the coast from the late 1930s to the second half of the 1950s.
This coastal panorama travels through several emblematic places of the region. It features the rocky shores of Piriac-sur-Mer, the La Turballe harbor with its families and its large drying nets laid out in the sun, the Le Croisic harbor with its boats and the La Baule-Le Pouliguen harbor. The wild coast offers impressive waves breaking against the rocky coves near Batz-sur-Mer, where the windmill is also visible. The set is completed by scenes of leisure at La Baule-les-Pins and Sainte-Marguerite, showing family gatherings at the Masson restaurant, children playing on a swing, and moments shared in the garden.
