Description from the seller
Beautiful collection with many nice cards from Zierikzee in the province of Zeeland, Netherlands.
Both used and unused cards.
Perhaps an occasional card with signs of aging or wear.
The contents may include, in addition to postcards, another item, such as a photograph or a small keepsake.
All items have been scanned.
Shipped within the Netherlands with track & trace. Outside the Netherlands, shipments are sent by registered mail.
If you win multiple lots from one auction, it will be checked whether they can be shipped together.
If this is possible, a portion of the shipping costs will be refunded after shipment.
Although we compile our listings with great care, it may occasionally happen that there is a textual error in the description.
Although we sort the cards as carefully as possible, it may occasionally occur that one or more cards do not fully meet the stated theme, country, or the relevant place.
To avoid misunderstandings, we would like to point out that the photos are always decisive/precede the description.
Seller's Story
Paper Hills grew out of a hobby, a passion that got out of hand, maybe even a minor obsession. Since the beginning of 2021 we have decided to really go for it. Paper Hills, officially got off the ground.
Hi, my name is Alexander Custers, owner of Paper Hills. A company specialized in the purchase and sale of antique stationery. Alexander comes from a family of collectors, the extensive and unique stamp collection of his grandfather and father certainly contributed to this. A new interest in this beautiful profession was aroused when he saw old maps of his own village, Sint Geertruid, and beautiful Limburg.
The hobby grew into a passion until it turned out that, together with him, many others were interested in collecting and reviewing maps showing old images. The old images on these cards often bring back beautiful memories in people.
