The composition is formed by 9 illustrated panels, resembling a small gallery of works of art. Renaissance ladies, figures inspired by famous classical portraits, bohemian-charmed muses, queens of ancient Egypt and marine deities coexist in elegant, mysterious and deliberately impossible settings.

The composition brings together muses, noble ladies, figures inspired by classical painting, Egyptian influences and animal presences in an imaginary gallery with elegant and surreal charm. The distinctive hallmark of the entire panel is given by elongated figures, oval faces and long, slender necks, interpreted as a sign of refined elegance and deliberate unreality.

This stylistic choice recalls the sophisticated grace of Mannerism, with a reference to Parmigianino’s Madonna with the long neck, and the poetry of Amedeo Modigliani’s portraits, famed for their elongated proportions, essential faces and sinuous silhouettes.

The whole creates a free dialogue between ancient art, fashion, Deco-inspired déco atmospheres and contemporary imagination: a textile narrative rich in mystery, femininity and irony, where eras and icons from different worlds coexist in a single pictorial setting.
