Berkel - Balance or scale - Metal - Vintage counter

Bench scale, antique mechanical scale, produced by the historic company BERKEL, model from the 1950s. Red color structure typical of the brand, with a very heavy metal base and body. Fan-shaped dial with a graduated scale for reading weight, weighing plate in metal (steel) located on the right side of the base. This scale presents in overall good conservative condition (fair for its age), it shows no signs of recent invasive restorations; the red paint has some chipping, scratches and wear marks consistent with time and use. The BERKEL logo on the column and the central crest STELLA DUCI are well preserved and clearly readable; the whole assembly shows some dulling due to age. The shipping costs are appropriate due to its substantial weight and the overall volume of the packaging. It will travel on a pallet because it is too heavy.
