Very beautiful and important Napoleonic III period sewing box dating from the second half of the 19th century, around 1860.

The case is made of rosewood veneer and features a rich decoration in light maple wood or rosewood. Remarkable marquetry work.

We have a mother-of-pearl escutcheon that shows the quality of the piece.

This sewing box has two levels of storage; it is in good condition, we can only note that in the first removable tray there are cracks.

Très belle et importante boite à couture d'époque Napoléon III datant de la seconde moitié du XIX eme siècle vers 1860. 

Le coffret est réalisé en bois de placage de palissandre et présente un riche décor de bois clair de l'érable ou du bois de rose. Remarquable travail de marqueterie. 

Nous avons un écusson en nacre qui montre la qualité du produit. 

Cette boite à couture a deux niveaux de rangement, elle est en bon état, nous pouvons juste relevé que dans le premier rangement qui s'enlève il y a des fissures.
