Description from the seller

Exceptional dessert service / Murano glass presentation set – Alfredo Barbini – 1950s/1960s
Magnificent Murano glass service attributed to Alfredo Barbini, renowned Murano master glassmaker, consisting of a large central bowl accompanied by its matching small bowls.
Very beautiful piece, entirely handmade, in a superb combination of emerald green, transparent green and opaline white, with wide glass ribbons embedded in the material and delicate scroll-shaped handles.
The organic and asymmetrical shape of the pieces is particularly characteristic of Barbini's work and of Murano glass from the Mid-Century period.
An ensemble that is both decorative and functional, ideal as a dessert service, fruit bowl, ice-cream set, or simply as a magnificent collectible piece.
Alfredo Barbini (1912–2007) is one of the great Murano master glassmakers of the 20th century. He founded his own glassworks in 1950 and subsequently pursued widely recognized work around thick glass, sommerso and organic forms.
Dimensions: serving bowl 32cm x 7cm x 18cm
Dimensions: bowls 12cm x 5cm x 10cm
Excellent condition!
