Antique carving set – handles in Minerve-marked silver – France, circa 1900 – presentation case
Description:
Elegant antique French carving set consisting of a large knife and a serving fork, presented in its original case.
Both pieces feature fine Minerve-stamped silver handles, richly decorated in the Louis XVI taste: fluting, foliate motifs, beaded borders, and central cartouches.
The knife blade is marked “PARIS” and bears several old workshop marks. The fork has an elegant pierced design with three tines.
