This panel (20x58) was created by Nino Gobbis in the 1950s and 1960s, for Celotto furniture (Treviso).
The panel features a relief raised decor, typical of the organic aesthetics of the period. A composition of scenes of life. Generally these panels were inserted into furniture as decoration.

The object is in perfect condition despite its 70 years.
Gobbis collaborated with Arreda di Celotto, which produced in the 1950s furnishings designed by famous Italian architects and designers such as Piero Celotto, commissioning decorative panels from artists like Nino Gobbis to furnish bourgeois houses, offices, hotels, or cruise ships.

Nino Gobbis, Italian painter and engraver active in the mid-twentieth century, a figure deeply linked to the world of author interior design and the Treviso mid-century modernism of the 1950s and 1960s. He exhibited in the 1950s at the Venice Biennale and was part of the group of painters, sculptors and architects of the 1950s, such as Scarpa, Celotto, Murer, Afra and Tobia Scarpa.

I declare that this panel comes from the private collection of the Celotto family of Montebelluna, in whose possession it has remained since the time of its creation. The work subsequently became part of my private collection and is offered for sale with this provenance declaration, given in good faith.
